How To Save An Animation On Firealpaca

How To Breathing with FireAlpaca! If you haven't seen their "How To" web log yet :)

I'm not a big animator hither, similar, at all, but I know how to animate!

image

Check below the cut if you want to detect out!

Alright welcome to animative 101!

Starting time, you lot wanna open a new file

image

Now allow'southward say yous've just finished your last production and want to breathing, yeah? At that place's an selection on top labelled "View" which you want to drib downward and there will be an choice called "Onion Skin Mode"

image

Once opened, if you lot make a new layer, the previous layer volition exist colored red and the layer higher up it if you're checking frames will be green!

image
image

At present, allow's say yous want to cheque how your blitheness looks so far. In that location'southward an option on the same drib downward menu under "View". Once dropped downwardly in that location is an selection called "AutoPlay" which is beneath "Onion Skin Mode"

image

^^^Here you can cull how many fps you're gonna apply :)

Now moving on, let'south say you've finished all your frames, correct? Open the "File" driblet downward carte du jour but become to the choice that says "Export Layers"

image

Now, before you movement on, I'll tell you this now. Information technology saves every frame in sequence as PNG files as "000″ "001″ "002″ and so forth. I learned that after trying to brand a new animation, it wouldn't save! I was similar "what? this worked last time, I know I'thou doing it correct." Well, brand a folder for each animation. That way no "repeats" are made or you lot aren't saving over your files.

image

^^^  I chosen my file "Instance" and if you can meet, there's other folders that I made for different animations.

Now, select that binder and in that location should be a pop upward that asks if you want to GIF information technology!

image

Well, Aye. That's why you're here, right? 0-0

OH before we motility on, a note on animative.

It tin get actually confusing with all the layers, so it's best to number them…the reason I say "number them" is considering…what if you have this super detailed picture, right? And you lot don't want to repaint or recolor or redraw everything because it took y'all As well freaking long. Well, I usually merely duplicate that layer. Only then it looks like this:

image

How many "Layer 1″s are In that location. So I make them 1, 2, iii, 4, 5…etc

image

Anyhow, back to regular programming:

You should be taken to this website!

image

Yeah, it's Japanese. Yeah, yous can change it to English. Merely y'all actually don't accept to. Only scroll downwardly until you lot see this:

image

That pink box in the middle is asking you to upload all those PNG files that were saved into your folder. Well, duh, click on it.

image

Now, a folder should evidence up like that ^^^^ I mean mine just went direct to one of the animations I was working on, and then only await for the place that you saved all your PNG files and upload all of them IN SEQUENCE.

Want a shortcut to clicking all those frames?

Click on the first PNG file, and so roll all the way to the last one. Hold down the "Shift" button and click on the last PNG file. All of them should be highlighted afterwards. Then, click open and they should offset uploading. It'll accept a while.

image

You'll see a preview box. It'll show the animation once every file has completed. That first pointer just says yous can alter the fps to your want. The second arrow says to uncheck that last box so the "FA" logo isn't covering your blitheness (because logo's are abrasive…)

And then, you lot go down and see this

image

Click that box that says GIF! And so it'll say to download

image

It'll open a browser to download your GIF, and then it'll be saved!

image

At that place at the lesser, my file (whatever characters).gif Open it and rename it to whatever you want and in that location you have your animation that y'all tin check on

image

Promise THIS HELPED MY LOVELIES
